The Diabetes Research & Wellness Foundation and the specialist diabetes teams from Solent NHS Trust and Southampton University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and wider Hampshire NHS are pleased to announce that we will be working together again in 2013 to put on another one of our popular and successful Diabetes Wellness Days for the fifth year running for people across the southern region.

As you may know Diabetes Research & Wellness Foundation (DRWF) holds a successful and popular Diabetes Wellness Day each year for people living across the south. As part of our education event programme, we also hold an annual, residential, Diabetes Wellness Weekend.

This annual event is aimed at people living with diabetes and those with an interest in diabetes, who would like to learn more about the condition and improve their lifestyle and personal management. An exciting mixture of talks, workshops, gentle exercise classes, exhibitors, entertainment and mixing with like minded people will make this special anniversary event one to remember.

DRWF are pleased to announce a brand new event for 2013 ~ Join the teams from DRWF and Braxted Park Cookery School for this special healthy cooking day. Learn some new cooking skills and techniques; discover some inspirational recipe ideas and add to your understanding of healthy food choices to help manage your diabetes.

The Diabetes Research & Wellness Foundation are pleased to announce that we will be working with Consultant Physician Dr Susan Jones, Lead Diabetes Nurse Lisa Specialist Doughty and the specialist diabetes team from the North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust to put on another one of our popular and successful Diabetes Wellness Days for the third year running for people across the North East region.
