DRWF Events: Support for families living with diabetes at United Through Diabetes
We talk with Sanjay Gohil at United Through Diabetes about helping families find useful support from healthcare professionals.
DRWF’s 25th anniversary educational event for people living with. diabetes invited healthcare experts to share presentations on various topics of diabetes management.
We spoke to Sanjay Gohil, Director at Futures Health about his work with DRWF to support families living with diabetes.
Sanjay said: “We have been liaising with families to facilitate focus groups, and families have kindly offered their time to help identify the current state of care they are receiving across the hospitals and the clinics in the UK, as well as identifying the resources that they may benefit from. Taking that information and hopefully devising further resources and information that would be useful for patients as they manage the people with diabetes in their families or their children or their siblings.”
