2019 Christmas card campaign most successful yet.
Thank you to everyone who has supported DRWF in the run-up to the festive period by purchasing from our Christmas card range.
DRWF profits £2.50 from every pack of Christmas cards sold and by early December sales had exceeded the £6,000 mark – making it the biggest year of card sales to date.
As part of their ‘Festival Challenge Initiative’, we were joined by employees from Zurich Insurance, Whiteley - who sold cards at events in Winchester and Portsmouth. Zurich match funded (doubled) their daily takings – raising £1,107.12 in total.
Our Christmas card roadshow this year saw us visit Christmas Markets in Winchester, Portsmouth Historic Dockyard and Fort Purbrook, Hampshire – as well as the DRWF Diabetes Wellness Days in Warwick and Hartlepool.

For the first time ever, we took our range of cards onto eBay – which proved a roaring success and something we will continue with in 2020.
Tim Green, Head of Community Fundraising at DRWF, said: “Thank you to everyone who got involved, either by purchasing our cards or making a donation to our Christmas Card campaign. We are elated with the response to the campaign and delighted that our supporters chose our beautiful cards to share their love, support and festive messages to their friends, family and colleagues. Merry Christmas.”
