Users guide to hybrid closed loop systems published
Diabetes specialist nurses group present a comparison chart to offer an informed choice on various features.
A comparison chart for hybrid closed loop systems has been published for people living with diabetes to select the best insulin delivery device for them.
With so many different products now available, the choice can sometimes be overwhelming – and so various features are assessed.
The chart was developed by the Diabetes Specialists Nurse (DSN) Forum, following the success of a previous chart on continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) last year.
The chart provides people with an easy-to-understand comparison of currently available and soon to be launched hybrid closed loop systems.
Among features reviewed include target glucose, set-up requirements, pump type and sharing data with healthcare professionals.
